Using a direct kill rat trap can be very effective but rats are wary and if you have a number of rats then rat control using traps may not be the answer. Rat poison can be more effective but bewar using rat poison in the home as there is a risk that rats will die and cause a very unpleasant smelll.

Be very careful when setting this rat trap as the spring is very strong and you could damage yourself, rather than the rat !!!!!
