Pack of 6 Rat catcher boards. Rapid results for the difficult Rat!
Sticky boards are not our favourite means of dealing with Rats & Mice but as a last resort they provide a very effective, though somewhat unpleasant, solution.
If you order these you are undertaking to check the boards at least twice per day and, if any caught rodent is not already dead, to despatch it quickly and humanely.
Approx 30cm x 15cm.
Place in areas where Rats or Mice are kown to be active, place close against skirting or wall for best results as Rats tend to run around the edges of a room.
Do not use Rat catcher sticky traps outdoors unless well covered and protected from non target species, traps will catch Birds and small mammals so please be careful. Cooking oil can be used to release anything that is caught unintentionally, but we really don't want you to allow that to happen!
Under the Animal Welfare Act 2006, any animal becomes a 'protected animal' when it is 'under the control of man whether on a permanent or temporary basis'. Therefore an animal in such a trap is a protected animal, and if it suffers unnecessarily as a result of poor practice in the use of the trap, or through a failure to release or kill the animal in an appropriate manner, then an offence of causing unnecessary suffering under section 4 of the Act may have been commited.
