Trapping rats is a long established method of rat control. Avoids the use of rat poison and produces the rat live which can then be released a couple of miles away. If you use rat poison within a building there is a risk that the rat may die in an inaccessible area and the dead rodent smell is not something to be toyed with! Dead rats smell horrible for weeks, so for control of rats indoors we suggest vermin traps or rat catcher sticky boards. You cn also use electronic pet repellers, which although exceelent at ridding mice from properties, sometimes struggle to drive out rats.
