Confidentially e-mail your complaint to gemmasellings@pestcontroldirect.co.uk (24 hrs) or telephone our Service Complaint Phone Number 01323 846845 from 9am-5pm Mon-Fri(excl. Bank Holidays) (calls charged at standard BT rates) or write to Gemma Sellings at the address on the foot of this page,.

We will respond to all complaints within 3 working days.

We undertake to provide a confidential complaint handling procedure.

We will provide a satisfactory solution to the complaint within 5 working days from receipt of the complaint.

We undertake to keep you fully informed of the progress of your complaint by giving a timescale for the expected satisfactory conclusion plus a daily update (Monday to Friday) either by telephone, by e-mail or by facsimile.

We undertake to maintain monitored records of all complaints and to investigate and implement ways of reducing or eliminating such complaints.

Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

Shipping And Handling

COURIER DELIVERY CHARGE MADE TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS IS LESS THAN, OR THE SAME AS WE PAY THE COURIER FOR THE DELIVERY.

24-48hr delivery service will be provided on orders placed before 3.30pm. (excluding weekends and Bank Holidays) You select your delivery option/price during the order process.

Items going to Scotland north of Edinburgh may take 2/3 days

Our NEXT WORKING DAY delivery option @ £5.99 inclusive gives you the following:

NEXT WORKING DAY DELIVERY (UK Mainland addresses) Orders arriving before 3.30pm Monday to Friday will be despatched the same day. Orders placed on Friday will not be delivered on Saturday as this is not considered a Working Day by the couriers, orders placed on a Friday will be delivered the following Monday.

Please note:

1. We are unable to despatch on Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holidays

2. Although we offer a Next Day delivery for everything there is not a 100% Guarantee that your order will be delivered next day, we always despatch on time but couriers don't always deliver!!.

We promise to send your parcel either by Next Day Courier or Royal Mail Next Day Special Delivery. These services are usually very reliable but outside factors sometimes cause delay. Over 97% of our Next Day deliveries arrive next working day (Sat/Sun & Bank Holiday are not considered a working day by the couriers).

3. Customers in Scottish rural areas should expect a two-three day delivery (sorry for that!).

4. Our couriers are instructed to "Leave Safe" if you are not at home at time of delivery. (excluding high value orders).

5. In the unusual event where delivery is repeatedly refused or no effort is made to accept delivery, we reserve the right to pass delivery and return courier costs to the customer.

POST: 2nd - £2.99. 1st - £3.96 inclusive (Mainland and N. Ireland) MANY OF OUR PRODUCTS CANNOT BE SENT BY POST DUE TO BEING LIQUID OR CONTAINING INSECTICIDE. IF THE PRODUCT YOU ARE ORDERING CANNOT COME BY POST THEN YOU WILL NOT BE OFFERED THIS OPTION.

We send all post items via ROYAL MAIL. These items sometimes arrive the next day but can take up to 3-7 days to arrive. If you are out at the time of delivery and the package will not go through your letterbox, the postman will attempt to leave with a neighbour.

Delivery Schedule

We deliver your order right away. We will normally send your order to you in one business day unless you have selected 2/3 day or delivery by post..

Items going to Scotland may take 2/3 days if the address it far from the major cities.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges

For orders made from the UK, 20.00% VAT is added.

We guarantee to provide you with suitable products to deal with the pests suggested based on our 30 years of experience in pesticide usage, however, we have no control over the end user application of the products and therefore cannot offer any firm guarantee of efficacy of products supplied, subject to the PestClear 2500/4000 items mentioned below

Electrical products carry a minimum 1 year Manufacturers Guarantee: Pestclear 2500 and Pestclear 4000 Professional carry a 30 day money back guarantee that they will clear your pest problem and a two year manufacturer warranty against product failure.

Pest Control Direct Ltd is a responsible internet trader with proven privacy history, having been established since 2000.

We do not use any customer information for any other purpose than to fulfil their requests for products or services from our company.

We do not forward any customer details to any third party. Any printouts of sensitive customer information, including credit/debit card printouts are securely shredded every 6-8 months depending on throughput.

We do not send random marketing emails to personal email addresses (spam)

Our website uses "cookies" in order to effect a seamless order process and for any re-order requirements. These are not used for any other purpose.

Returns Policy

We will accept returns providing they have been handled with reasonable care and we would appreciate the return of the original packaging.

On items we get in as a special order (items not listed on our website) are non-refundable, unless they are faulty.

We accept return of faulty/substituted/unsuitable for purpose goods and will refund the cost and pay the return carriage on same via our chosen carrier (customer must contact us for details of how we wish the goods returned). This does not include the cost of returning goods where the customer has changed their mind, in this case the customer must return the goods to us at their own cost within 14 days or receipt.
