- Easy to set
- Easy release
The well established Monarch multi-catch Rat trap. Easy release door for safe handling of caught Rats. THIS IS NOT THE FLIMSY MODEL YOU MAY BUY FROM SOME OF OUR COMPETITORS. THIS IS A SOLID WELL CONSTRUCTED RAT TRAP.
400mm x 180mm x 210mm.
Trapping Rats is a long established method of Rat control. Avoids the use of Rat poison and produces the Rat live which can then be released a couple of miles away. If you use Rat poison within a building there is a risk that the Rat may die in an inaccessible area and the dead rodent smell is not something to be toyed with! Dead Rats smell horrible for weeks, so for control of Rats indoors we suggest vermin traps or Rat catcher sticky boards. You can also use electronic pest repellers, which although excellent at ridding Mice from properties, sometimes struggle to drive out Rats.

||As Sir Bobby Geldof would say, its a rat trap and you've been caught|
||Well made and exactly as described|
||So far, we haven't caught anything in the rat traps, even though they have been baited so not sure of the efficiency of the actual purchase!!!!||
Thank you for the feedback. Rats can be difficult to catch in traps at the best of times. Be patient and try different baits. Sounds like you have an awkward rat more than the product being inadequate. Try cooked bacon, if you have a rat he will find this irresistable !
||Good quality rat trap, looks well made.|
||So far no success.|
||the rat trap I bought was worked on an lobster pot principle sorry to say it has not worked at all. I'm very disappointed|
||Well made exactly how it was described on the website|
||works a treat|

||rubbish, items were rusty and bent, I will never use again.|

I'd be extremely disappointed to learn that these traps weren't inspected before leaving you, but it arrived damaged/not in full working order. And, as above, I can't say if the inadequate packaging - placed inside a low open box with thick paper draped across the top - contributed. But one of the two catches that hold the release door simply didn't 'catch' - it just flopped around and was completely ineffective. [Possibly caused by crushing? As the 'door/flap' itself was slightly out of alignment.] As the other catch held pretty well, I decided to try and rebend the other catch to make it work - as you may realise, it didn't like this and simply fell apart [the metal used clearly not up to alternative bending or reshaping]. I'm currently using the trap - with no luck yet [Day 4] - as I couldn't be bothered to go through the extra trouble of returning; using just the one catch, as it 'seems' sturdy enough to hold. Famous last words?!|
||Haven't caught anything with it. Have a rickety old humane rat trap with a trap door and caught the 7 rats living under my decking.|
||Caught nothing yet.|
||great because it doesn't get set off by accident,so can be left in chicken runs etc|
||Looks ok, all parts working ok, but yet to catch that damm rat lol.|
||Does the job with good advice notes for the novice rat-catcher. Easy to bait and trouble free release catch to let the pesky devils go free into the woods miles away!|
