Wear positive-pressure self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) and appropriate protective clothing.
6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
PERSONAL PRECAUTIONS: Avoid contact with eyes. Avoid repeated or prolonged
contact with skin. Keep out of the reach of children. Wear suitable gloves as per section 8 when using.
ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONS: Do not allow spillage or runoff to enter drains, sewers or watercourses.
METHODS FOR CLEANING UP: Absorb spillage with sand or an inert absorbent material. Transfer used material to a suitable waste container, seal securely and dispose of in accordance with local regulations. Dispose of waste to licensed waste disposal site in accordance with the requirements of the local Waste Disposal Authority. (See section 13).
7. HANDLING AND STORAGE
HANDLING: Read and follow manufacturer’s recommendations.
Avoid contact with eyes. Eliminate all sources of ignition. Do not discharge the product whilst smoking or close to a naked flame, incandescent heat source or electrical equipment in use. Good personal hygiene procedures should be implemented.
STORAGE: Store in tightly-closed original container in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place. Protect from direct sunlight, open flames and sources of ignition. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding to 50°C.
8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION
Respiratory Protection: Use only in a well-ventilated area. Do not smoke whilst using.
In case of inadequate ventilation use suitable respiratory protection.
Hand Protection: No specific hand protection recommended. None required during normal use. Chemical-resistant, impervious gloves complying with an approved standard should be worn if a risk assessment indicates skin contact is possible. Gloves are recommended for prolonged use.
Eye/Face Protection: None required in normal use.
Skin Protection: None required during normal use. Avoid prolonged or repeated contact.
Hygiene measures: No specific hygiene procedures recommended but good personal hygiene practices should always be observed when working with chemical products. When using do not eat, drink or smoke.

Appearance: Aerosol. Fine spray
Flash point: <0°C
10. STABILITY AND REACTIVITY
Conditions to Avoid: High temperatures and direct sunlight.
11. TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION
EYE: May cause irritation if product comes into contact with eye (moderately irritating). If aerosol is discharged directly into the eye, then physical damage, which may include superficial freeze burns, may occur.
SKIN: Frequent or prolonged contact may lead to irritation. If sprayed directly onto the skin, freeze burns may result due to the rapid expansion of the gas as it leaves the can. Not a skin sensitiser.
INGESTION: Toxic if swallowed. May cause local irritation of the mouth and upper digestive tract.
INHALATION: Some local irritation of the nasal mucosa is possible, but during normal use this will be transient. Over-exposure due to deliberate or accidental inhalation of the aerosol-derived gases and vapours could lead to coughing, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, breathing difficulties, coughing, drowsiness, tremors, convulsions, headaches and narcosis. Extremely rare, excessive inhalation may lead to a coma and death in susceptible individuals.
12. ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION
The aerosol does not contain CFC propellants. The pyrethroid group of insecticides is toxic to fish and so potential contact with aquaria should be avoided. This product will harm beneficial insects such as honey bees.
Product packaging may be recycled where facilities are available.
13. DISPOSAL CONSIDERATIONS
Do not puncture or incinerate, even when empty.
Dispose of waste to licence waste disposal site in accordance with the requirements of the local Waste Disposal Authority.
