The latest generation of Barrettine’s Oa2ki (organic agent to kill insects) is now launched and available. This product kills a very wide range of other insects including bed bugs, moths, carpet beetle, silverfish, booklice, the list goes on…
The mode of action is by physical means by covering the insect in a cellulose polymer. The polymer is based on pine pulp and as soon as the solvent evaporates, this leaves behind a cellulose polymer- essentially shrink-wrapping the insect. As a consequence of the insect being coated with the polymer in this sticky polymer, the insect dies and this occurs very quickly as respiration is affected.
The formulation contains no insecticides, has a rapid knockdown and is effective on insects resistant to insecticides.
Being chemical free, this product will take longer to work (than using Pro-Active C, for example) and you might need more of it, but it is effective if given time and patience.
